The "finish" is not the most important thing in a golf swing at all. Do you play golf? Have you had any professional lessons? The ENTIRE swing is important. The back swing is just as important as the after swing.

follow through all the way. consistent nice smooth swing. maintain a steady set up with every swing,your muscles will get used to the same sort of movement. its called muscle memory. try it,you'll see. also you don't have to kill the ball, slow down think about where your ball will land and swing . then follow through all the way.

The grip. Then smoothly swinging the club through the ball as fast as you can while maintaining your balance. A bad grip will cause a bad swing.
