well I don't want to make this into a religious war with all the other people on here to flame me. But I'll keep religion out as best as I can so I don't have to go through that. Well honestly it's just basically what your beliefs are, if your Roman Catholic, you have to ask yourself have you been going to Church every Sunday, Have you gone to confession at least once or twice a month, have you been praying at all, and most importantly how much faith, trust, and love do you have for God. If your Muslim then well have you been going to the Mosac every Friday to get closer to God. Do you follow the month of Ramadon very well. How often do you reflect on the Quran passages. If your Jewish then well do you make sure to follow the Sabbath, do you follow the Jewish law and regulations as said in the Torah.
And well if your anything else besides those three major religions and yes Christianty is still Roman Catholic, but for me to go into each sect of each religion would be way too long. So well honestly don't be scared, remember something always, don't look at the future ever. Take the day you have in front of you and use it to the best you can. Make sure to thank God for the things you have, maybe say alittle prayer for someone you pass on the street that was less fortunate then you. And well just try your best to keep your calm throughout the day and just try to do good things and stay away from doing the bad things that you really like doing.
God is mercyful God, he is also loving and understanding. I mean I'm not telling you to go and kill everybody in the world and expect a place in Heaven, but all it takes is for you to try your very best. He knows that you are human, he created you with the ultimate love he has, you are very very special to him. He knows your going to do evil stuff because of your concupiscence. He loves you more than anything else in this world, Humans are his favorite creation. Which made Satan so jealous that he would love us more than the Angels, and made Satan prideful. But well no religious stories here. So well just take it easy, don't be afraid to tell God that you love him too. Remember he is always listening and watching you. He's always there for you.

I used to be afraid--but not of going to hell or heaven. Since I am a mother I worried about my children and not seeing them grow up. (I had a cancer scare a few years ago) I even went so far as to talk to my sister about taking my kids and raising them when I was gone. Death is nothing to be afraid of....if you have lived your life the right way then you will go to heaven--if that is what you believe. If you are young and I'm sure you probably are since adults in thier late 20's and early 30's tend to be the ones who think about this the most, focus on your life now. Enjoy it. Worrying about the future will only rob you of precious good times and memories now.....

Everyone is afraid of death to one degree or the other. You just live the best life you can, so when your time comes you can say you have no regrets. Being at peace with who you are and how you've lived will make facing death easier. If you take care of your responsibilities in this life, personal and otherwise, you needn't worry about where you're going afterwards, it will be a good place.

Nope. the only way you can feel safe is by staying with Jesus and doing as he says. If you are in Him then you are safe and just trust in God as for dying it is just another adventure much more better than here and we should lay up treasures in heaven not on earth

I don't think there is anything to be scared of in dying. In living there is plenty to be scared of. Live right and death will hold no fears.
