name is JESUS? WHAT WOULD YOU THEN WISH YOU HAD TAUGHT YOUR CHILDREN? THINK ABOUT THIS ONE BEFORE YOU ANSWER.

So far it's really incredible that so many didn't even answer the question. If I asked what would you do if you won 10 million dollars, then I'm sure these same people would gladly share their ideas on what they would do. And it would just be a remote, very very remote possibility to win 10 million dollars, maybe you could say it's folly or fantasy that this would ever happen to you. So... even if you think it's fantasy or folly, how would you feel if you died tomorrow and you learned there really is a God and His name is Jesus?

As an Ex-Christian I would much rather prefer to be in hell with the rest of my family and friends who I could never convert while I was Christian because they had the senses to believe in what they wanted instead of allowing themselves to get brainwashed by me and other Christians.

Also I don' like the the book of Revelation description of heaven where it states that the angels and believers will be singing praises to Yahweh while Jesus sits at his right hand. My idea of paradise is eating chocolate cake on a gorgeous beach with my boyfriend while overlooking a beautiful sunset. I would not enjoy my time in the Christian idea of heaven because there would be sexism and it's like we would n't have a right to self-indulge. I'm all up for doing good works for others but Christianity teaches that everything we do should be for God and we should be completely self-less so it's like we're servants. I would rather rule in hell than be a slave in heaven.

Admittedly I would feel like a bit of a ****, but would also like to think that I'm a big enough person to accept that and deal with the consequences.
I'm teaching my children about religion and such like the same way that I was. They, like myself, have not been christened, baptised or whatever. When they are old enough to differentiate between truth and fiction in their own minds then they can decide for themselves. But I will not make up their minds for them, nor will I try to sway them one way or the other.

Wasn't you just complaining in your last question about people who don't believe and why are they in this section answering questions?? Then you turn around and direct a question at them yet again?
What would I do if I died tomorrow and learned there really is a god. I wouldn't do anything I would be dead and buried in the ground. No heaven and no hell. No I would not regret it neither. My kids know about god as well as other religions and choose not to follow them on their own.
By the way i may be wrong but I think God and Jesus are suppose to be two different people. Jesus is suppose to be god's son! So wont you try to educate your self on your own religion before pushing it on to others! What would you do tomorrow if you died and learned your God is not real?

If you died tomorrow and learned that JESUS was a hoax, would you feel badly for all the time you wasted in your life "believing" and trying to get others (your children, etc.) to think you were right?

Believe or not to believe is each person's choice.

Personally, I am a Christian!!

Here is a real question for you...If GOD gave mankind free will, why don't Christian Evangelists have faith that people will do the right thing??? GOD lets you make up your own mind, but CE's think they have all the answers...

Thanks, but no thanks...believing can not be forced...I don't need you to tell me what I should or should not believe!!!

Honestly, if that were to be the case, any wishing on my part would be moot at that juncture because if I am dead or even still alive, the past will always remain the past. As far as how I would feel, I'm hoping that at least in death, all feeling will be gone because that is part of the human experience. My spirit on the other hand will be and that if there is a Christ and all that you say about Him is true, then I will be loved unconditionally because I practice what He called the greatest commandment which is to love others.

I am confident in only one thing. That any God worthy of worship and total obedience is benevolent, omniscient and patient. If I die tomorrow and find some all powerful being condemning me for actions that I believe were justified, without trying to show me the error of my ways, doing everything possible to help correct me, explaining why and treating me with respect, then although I may be sentenced to eternal suffering, I will not regret my actions and thoughts. The God Christians describe does not do this, so if they are right, I will go to hell without reservations or regret.

Nothing will happen when you die, you cease to exist. So why worry about it and why bother forcing religion of any sort down my throat. My body will become ash or bug feed. There is no soul. You love, you live, you learn, you die, end of the line. Circle of life buddy, circle of life.

I would stare him right in the eye and ask him why he gave me the ability to think for myself, allowed the establishment of other religions besides Christianity, gave me no signals that he even existed, and then got mad when I became an agnostic.

I would also love to know why he gave me the ability to question, wrote a book with countless unbelievable events in them (miracles, Noah's Ark, virgin births, Adam & Eve, etc.) and then didn't like it when I used that (again, God-given) ability to question.

But seriously, that's like me asking you, "What would you do if you died tomorrow and you learned there really is a God and his name is Allah?"

Probably the same way you will feel when YOU die and find out that your God isn't real and the way you thought things are was a complete lie. Now don't you feel foolish?
