Ideally you shouldn't. The humidity in your fridge will cause it to get a white film over it eventually. And if you plan on using it for melting or cooking later, the extra moisture could cause you problems. (if you add even a couple drops of water to melted chocolate, it causes it to harden up almost instantly.)
Although, I have to agree with some other answerers, if it's a milk chocolate bar, and you're just gonna eat it, it is REALLY good cold and hard right out of the fridge!!

Chocolate of any kind, whether it be syrup, candy or cooking chocolate has an oil base and with heat, the chocolate not only loses taste and flavor, but the oils break down. Keeping the chocolate cooled retains the flavor and the oils within that make the taste so pleasant and aromatic.

Huge advantages to keeping chocolate in the fridge,,,,,it stays fresher so lasts longer, it tastes better when its cold and hard and you can hide it behind the milk bottles so no one else can find it!

In warm weather yes, but it just makes it cold and more solid, also if your house is warm, the milk solids rise to the top and make the chocolate look mouldy, so yes there can be.

Well, it's the only way to stop it melting unless you live in a really cold country. It's easier to eat if it's not melting.

However, I do like to take it out a couple of minutes before eating it as then you don't nearly break your teeth when you try to eat it.
