Why does he condem people who strive to do good deeds and aid others? Why is the only requirement to enter heaven sycophantism in the name of Jesus? (Please, only answer this question if you are a Christian, no atheists, agnostics, or those who believe good deeds can earn God's favor.)

What would Jesus say?

Wow!!! Great word, dude, even I had to look that one up. This is as close as my dictionary got:
sycophant |ˈsikəfənt; -ˌfant| noun a person who acts obsequiously toward someone in order to gain advantage; a servile flatterer. DERIVATIVES sycophancy |-fənsē; -ˌfansē| noun sycophantic |ˌsikəˈfantik| adjective sycophantically |ˌsikəˈfantik(ə)lē| adverb ORIGIN mid 16th cent.(denoting an informer): from French sycophante, or via Latin from Greek sukophantēs ‘informer,’ from sukon ‘fig’ + phainein ‘to show’ ; the association with informing against the illegal exportation of figs from ancient Athens (recorded by Plutarch) is not substantiated.

Enough servile flattery for one day.
You cannot get into heaven with any amount of servile anything.
It requires firstly Grace, God calls you! Second, you must believe, Faith in Jesus Christ is all you need to do to get into heaven once God has called you. NOT BY WORKS! Certainly not servile flattery, by which I think you mean worship. It's not worshippers that the church consists of, but believers.
And why is this? Because Faith is the first step toward Love. To learn to love someone, you must first trust them. That is what Jesus is leading us toward, a society based upon Love.

God does not condemn anyone striving to do good and aid others. I can't imagine where you dreamed that one up, I'm sorry. But do you mean people who work out of secret motives to advance their own self interest? Tax advantage? Publicity? Political Interest? Lobbying? Islamic charities who assist the victims of wars which they started in order to gain more soldiers to start future wars? I think all sensible people interested in a peaceful life, human rights and liberties, and honest dealings between all people must condemn that. Sounds too much like unchristian sycophantism.

We are required to be of good works to get into heaven yes, and those good works are summed up in the 10 commandments (Exo 20) However, we are sinners, and unclean. No clean thing can be taken from an unclean, no evil tree bring forth good fruit, our righteousness is as dirty rags.

We need to accept Christs righteousness to be saved, we can do no good thing in it of ourselves to be righteous, only God can make us righteous. That is the new covenant, God gives us the will to do his will, and the power to overcome sins.

Tit 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.

The word redeem means to deliver from, or to purchase back. He has delivered us or purchased us back from sin. The word purify means to clean from impurity or sin. Perfected is a word i don't think i need to explain, sanctified is that which is made holy, no holy thing can sin.

These are the words which are described about true Christians, true Christians, converted, crucified, born again Christians have the power over sin, have been forgiven for all sin, and live a perfect life. Every now and then they will fall, if you have a constant relationship with Jesus, it will happen rarely. I will tread carefully, because there is no excuse for sin; but a mans mind can sometimes wander. Remember, when Jesus comes, "who is able to stand" ? How can sinners be in the presence of a holy God?

Lucifer was cast out of heaven for sin, yet most people believe all we need to do is believe in Jesus and we can bring sin back there.

When we become Christians, we will automatically bring souls to Christ. Faith without works is dead (Jam 2:20).

Hope this helps, God bless!!

You must love and believe in God and his son Jesus in order to be received into Heaven. He is God and he makes the rules. If you were God you could make the rules.

Because that is God's will. Wise as you and I and everyone here with an answer is we haven't a chance of understanding the actions of something that is actuall omnicient. Do you think Ant's understand why we lay out sugarry foods in their path one momenet and then flick them off of it with our amazing power?

how do u know that He condemns them??! He loves them soo much but they dont know Him and arent able to reach Him instead those of other faiths believe in their gods and are worshipping the devil..the problem is that they dont know that...Jesus died for us and His blood saved us from our sins because He took our punishment on Himself..so we can get to heaven only if we believe that He died for us and saved
us from our sins.
