G!! why spend ur doh on a psychiatrist??? u can talk to all ur net pals!
take st johns wort and evening primrose oil with fish oil
try some of the indian herb Triphala, this will help your cells to forget the bad memories!
also look up a THOUGHT FIELD THERAPIST. This therapy is scientifically proven to be effective quickly. Sometimes within an hour!!!
its fairly simple, your fingers tap on the meridians of your body, this unlocks the stress that is blocking your energy flow. Then have a drink of pure / filtered water.
do not smoke after a T.F.T session
TRY THIS AMAZING EXPERIMENT!
WRITE LOVE ON THE WATER JUG U USE AND LEAVE IT OVERNIGHT BEFORE DRINKING THE WATER.
A SCIENTIST PROVED THAT THIS MAKES THE STRUCTURE OF THE WATER CHANGE TO BEAUTIFUL CRYSTALS!!!
YOU WILL FEEL THE LOVE CRYSTALS COURSING THRU UR VEINS and FEEL MORE LOVE FOR YOURSELF
ALSO FORGIVE THOSE WHO HURT YOU, THEY HAD PROBLEMS TOO, AND PROBABLY DIDNT MEAN TO HURT YOU

He obviously told you that because your personality is probably very ripe with things that he would love to pick apart and find out why you do them. Psychiatrist are always analyzing people's attitudes and mental states for interesting little sparks of knowledge. My friend is a psychologist and she's always wanting to pick my brain apart to find out why I feel that way or why I want to do what I do. Go with the flow, man!

You're trying to get to the bottom of what is wrong and are proabably a very intellegent person...he didn't count on that you know..he just wanted you to come there and give him his 250. an hour and he would keep you coming back to buy his latest model car...So...I would go to a different shrink...one who actually appreciates your willingness and ability to bare it all for the sake of getting well...Good luck...oh...sorry to correct myself..I thought you said your psychatrist...well..your 'friend' should not call himself a friend in my book

It's best you ask him yourself. You get the clearest answer from 'the horse's mouth'. Analysis here my paralyse you and defeat the purpose of seeing your psychiatrist.
