It is necessary to be aware of the devil's schemes. At the centre of the rebellion against God is a dazzling creature who refuses to admit defeat. Although Satan is a creation of God, his pride caused Him to challenge God's authority. He also tempts human beings to rebel against God. Though he is known by several different names, this angel of darkness remains committed to one purpose thwarting the will of God.

Those are titles, not names. Satan was a babaloyian king not a fallen Angel. Lucifer was the name of Prince and the name of God which meant "Light brearer". Deamon was a lesser god from religions other that Chirstianity. The Catholic Church manufactured the "Devil" and gave him the name of other peoples dieties. I don't believe in the Devil. I believe I am responsible for the Good or bad that I do in this life. I do believe that God is more than willing to Guide us, but I don't think there is some one out there that wants me to do evil things. Thats the easy way out. THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT!

There are many more that i can't think of. BUt He deserves every bad word. He is the one that is prevetning people to come to od and for the theory of Evolution and all these evil things in life. He's also responsible for Athiesm. Peopl who don't beleive in God have allowed the devil in their mind and now is worshiping even thought they may not be able to notice that they are worshiping the devil by choosing to not believe in God. Listening to seculr music oing this or that, like sex b4 marrige or doing drugs or killing and doing the worst stuff, are worshiping the devil but u may not know. Those are the thing that the devil represents in his life and in this world. Love, caring and truth and forgiveness, Father, goodness and more all have to do with God and represent Him .

satan is not an Angel & never was. Angels are created from light & never disobey God. satan was created from fire so he is not an Angel.
What he and anyone else does is under the Eternal Will of God. They can not change God's Will eventhough some disobey God's Order - that is by His Eternal Will because He has Power over all things.
satan used to be called azaazeel - now he is called iblees ever since he blasphemed.

Satan is a created being, there is no Bible verse which specifies otherwise. Lucifer is not God, what that person said above, he is saying that he was once God, no that refutes the claim and gives him the title in which he wanted to begin with "the most High"
