There is a product called Fortified Amino Scalp Therapy - FAST hair growth which is for normal hair not hair loss. A great many guys have used it and are really happy with the results.

try using women's shampoo and conditioner they r made for women with long hair which is bound to got more wirey so its made to fit the needs but mens shampoo just cleans and get rid of dandruff (well some do)
i would recommend tres semme

You need a good quality conditioner. Look for one specifically for your hair type.
Use a deep-conditioning mask now & again too.
It is essential to use conditioner, especially if your hair is dry/thick/course.

I had same prob and got some vits to take and my hair is definately softer. ask a hairdresser which vits are best for hair
