Why do toasters always have a setting on them which burns your toast to a
horrible crisp no one would eat?

I used to work at a truck stop diner, and some Canadian truck drivers would always come in and order burnt toast with cheese,,,maybe it's for the Canadians !!!

Some people perfer the crispy texture of the toast. Others, the more normal, perfer nice soft toast with a light outer crunch!
