Because most of us are ignorant, cynical, close minded or simply don't know the answer. In short, they haven't discovered their truth yet.

First of all what is god, god is a figment of somebodys imagination so by questioning it you are not questioning god you are questioning the persons beliefs. After all who has ever seen this great and so called god. (he might be hiding behind the curtain with the wizard) Thats why most religions make it a sin to question the existance of god. People get agitated when you ask questions because they cannot prove any existance of god, they will only ever answer a question with a question.

Everybody hates seeing their own certainties questioned.
Believers in science often act the same way when confronted with something science can't (yet) explain or which is outside the reach of scienctific explanations.
Believers with a closed mind need their belief for security and comfort, so they always react like children when you take their favourite toy away.

You do hurt the heart of God when you say mean things. God is very hurt by people and his heart bleeds because of the hardness of peoples hearts.

actually that isn't true, it says in the bible that God is an angry, and/or jealous God... hence the wrath of God. Anyone would get offended if you questioned anything they held dear!

Becuase there is nothing more dangerous to the Christian Faith than a question that scriptire doesn't have a good answer for.
