go to the British Consulate or embassy in whatever country you are in. They will be able to tell you what you can do and if you can do it.

I doubt no count in case you may declare British distant places Territories citizenship as this might in easy terms be gone by a father purely before 1983. by ability of how, that isn't the comparable as British citizenship, it does no longer entitle you to stay and paintings interior the united kingdom. however the sturdy information is that Cayman is an surprising nationality to have! the undeniable fact which you probably did no longer get your start registered under British nationality regulation does no longer make you unlawful, i'm effective you have Cayman citizenship already in case you have been born there and lived there your total life. purely prepare for a passport and see what happens.

Dont know,

By the way tell you jokes, and it goes:

>How I was born<

A little boy goes to his father and asks, "Daddy, will you tell me
how I was born?"
-The father debates answering, but finally says: "Well, I guess one day you will need to know anyway."
"Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo. I set up a date via e-mail and we met at a cybercafe.
-We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. "But when I was ready to upload and she was ready to download, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall and it was too late to hit the delete or escape button.
-"So nine months later a blessed little pop-up appeared that read, 'You've Got Male!"

One more joke:

A guy calls his vet and says "What should I do with my cat?Vet says "What do you mean? Guy says "I had a leak in my lawnmowers gas tank and the cat drank the gas. Then the cat began to run around and around the yard, climbed a tree. then fell out of the tree stiff. Vet says "Is the cat dead? Guy replies "nope he ran out of gas.

I hope you will take this answer as a best answer

if your father's father was a born in the UK, then you can apply with copies of your grandfather's birth and marriage certificates and your fathers registration certificate.
however, if your both your grand father and father where not born in the UK then you are not immeadiately entitled to being registered yourself. first you have to apply for an ancestral visa using your fathers registration, as well has having sponsorship from a UK resident... after you have lived an worked in the UK for a period of about 5 years you can then apply for naturalisation.

i would suggest that you check out the home office website for more information on registration and naturalisation.

You are asking in the wrong place.
Don't you have a British Consul in Malaysia? If you don't - go to Borneo - they have one.
