most of the time its not the man,, its the woman,, she wants the time and need the emotional assurity that her man will be there for her,, but in turn if family is getting cut off,, well thats another issue which shows one of 2 things,, if its all ties to the family,, the woman is probably pretty controlling,, they need to get out of that one,, if the man still talks just not hardly anymore,, thats called growing up and becomming a man and taking care of your responsibilties,, and if they have a good woman, she should also want to be involved in his family and he in hers,,,,

Maybe his family have not welcomed his woman. Therefore if he loves and really wants to be with someone nothing will stand in his way.

that is OK women do it as well but no matter who is doing it it is because they are being self centered and one day they do regret the decisions that was made and then go around blaming others for the way their life is.
