as i was doing my hair this morning i notised that my face looked a great deal greyer than normal, then i realised it was because my hair was covering my left eye so that it couldnt see.
so i started to play around and found that my right eye sees things in a much duller coluration.
is that normal or should i be worried and get an eye exam?

This is not normal.
See a doc immediately.
You might have weakening optic nerves in one eye.
Though I'm hoping that this is because of the lighting angle in the room. Or may be you rubbed one eye a little too much this morning.

no get them checked asap, you may need corrective glasses or contacts or possibly you have cancer of the optic nerve and your slowly going blind.
