If you had a blood test, you must have seen a doctor. What did s/he say?
You didn't give your age but obviously will not get your period regularly (or at all) once you reach menopause. You also didn't mention your general health. Women who are anorexic often do not have regular periods. Women who are super athletes often do not have regular periods. If you are taking drugs (legal or illegal), that could have a strong effect on your cycle. There are also birth control treatments today that will suppress your period for months at a time.
It could be any of these things or it could be something else. Don't ask a bunch of strangers on the Internet -- go see a physician!

What is your age ? if you are above 40-45 it may be menopause. Menopause will not come silently and it show some symptoms.
It is very strange you did not care for 8 months and now you selected this forum to tell this.
Please do not play. Go immediately to a gynecologist and have a D & C proceedure. How you took pregnanacy test at that time itself doctor would have advised you. Something serious and unable to give any opinion.

thats only due to hormonal imbalance. besr remedy is to workout for an hour every day to keep ur body and enzyme balance fit.
this happens even if u are in some medication. so work out 1st. and its better u go 4 a good consultation to a gynacologist. ok
take care. and have meals at time. and stop the contraceptive pills, this too bothers regular periods and IDU"S aswell.
hope u arent anaemic. well best advice i can give is check another doctor for better result confirmation.
bye 4 now.

I don't know how old you are - this happened recently to my 19 year old daugther who went about the same amount of time as that. She went to college - went on a diet AND lost a bunch of weight - and stopped having here period as result from what the doctor said. The solution was that here doctor put her on the pill and she got here period back the next month.

So, you have went to the doctor? Because if you haven't, you should. You should have went a long time ago. But there are tons of things that could make you miss it for so long. Are you stressed out? More so than normal? Have you had any major weight gain or lose? Hormonal imbalance could effect it as well. It could all potentiall be in your mind though. Thats why my doctor has told me. My hubby and I are trying for a baby, but haven't been successful yet. And she told me that its because I am making myself miss my period. It just could be psychological. Talk to your Dr.

How old are you? You could be in the menopause, if you are past 40. I would check with a doctor. If you start to have hot flashes and such, then it is probably that. If, however, you are younger, and do not have any health problems, then you should consult a doctor. Did you go to a GYN doctor, you should. I would go now.

Than you are not a good student. How did you missed your periods for 8 months? To be a good student, you need to attend all your periods and earn a good grade. You don't need to see a doctor.

Go see the doctor. Not having your period means something is not right. He may prescribe hormones to get you back in sync.Go ASAP because if it is something serious the sooner you are treated the better. Good luck!

You need to see a gynacologist. If you are over 50 it could be menopause but if you are young then definately get checked out by a specialist.
