A cop, dirty or otherwise, is still a citizen and must follow the laws as anyone else. Just remember the boys in blue follow a code of ethics and are united. So what evidence you have to back up any allegations against this individual, you may want to take out of "his" jurisdiction.

I say an eye for an eye. Do to him what he did to you.

If not posible, just review your civil rightsat the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) website, for possible violations. ALso, under FOIA (the Freedom of Information Act) you have the right to demand a copy, or to be able to read the police procedures that cop had to follow. Gather your notes and FILE A GRIEVANCE.

Oh, and when you do, avoid their little tricks: don't mail it, make sure someone takes it on hand, and don't accept promises that he'll deliver to the lieutenant on duty. DEMAND A RECEIPT
