As you can already speak Persian, English and German (good for you!) and are learning Italian which is a Romance language, you should start now to study either Spanish or Portuguese, as that won't be such a big leap. When you are 18, challenge either Chinese or Japanese .After that, learn Russian or another Eastern European Language. If you still have the stamina, go for Arabic after that, as I presume by Persian you mean Farsi?
By the time you decide what you want to do with your life (other than study languages ...) people will be knocking on your door.
You will have the choice of working for a multi-global company or as a volunteer for humanitarian or environmental issues.
You obviously have a talent for languages so make the most of it!
Good luck!

Well my talented friend, I speak English, Spanish, some Arabic, some Hindi, a bit of this and that! So from my view point, I think all languages are great.

Most people that speak Hindi also speak English, so, decide why you want to speak another language. Nothing wrong with learning Hindi, but when and how will you use it?

If it is for advanced commerce, then I would say Chinese or Arabic.

If its for linguistic fun...Portuguese, French or Spanish. (Not that you won't use those languages in business, you most certainly will) And those languages are common enough that you will get to use them often. (Depends where you live too I guess)

Anyway, way to go!

See, if you already know how to speak 3 languages ..
You can go about learning any other language so easily ..

Continue learning italian because it's sooo easy to learn, and then work on learning some spanish because it is very very similar to Italian .. so you knock two birds with one rock.

French is the most beautiful language in my opinion, but it is difficult to learn, to speak and to understand, But it's so pretty. Give it a shot you may like it. I started learning it since I was 10 and I still struggle in it. But spanish or Italian is pretty much a peice of cake.

Arabic is pretty close to persian, if you plan to work in the middle east, that would help. If not then it's not really worth learning.

Don't bother with the asian languages because you won't go too far with them. They are very difficult and hard to memorize.

Persian language is the oldest of them all. The best to learn now is Persian because you need to know how to relate with the Iranians who speak Persian. In that way you could become an asset in the understanding between two sides: the West and Iran.

At present, English will probably give you the most advantages; but more important than mastering vocabulary or grammar, you should work very hard to develop an American accent -- the more you sound like a native speaker, the more comfortable (particularly other Americans) will feel around you, and the more easily you'll be able to make yourself understood.

For most people on this site, I would say try English first.
Probably concentrate on English, because we're a lazy bunch which thinks everyone should make the effort to speak to us. (Includes the other English-speaking countries).
Spanish is important, but looking at the economic development taking place, then one might consider Mandarin or Hindi!

One word - Lithuanian! I've been learning it since I've been living in Vilnius for the last year - philologists here like to say it's one of the oldest living languages in Europe and is the nearest living link to the proto-indo european language that is accepted by many as the forerunner to most euro languages. Damned difficult though.
