It's probably got a modicum more fibre in it - that's all.

I personally get migraines for some reason if I drink freshly-squeezed juice or too many glasses of juice from containers.
Freshly-squeezed is better b/c of the vitamin content and that it doesn't have preservatives.

But actually eating the orange itself is the best to get the juice and vitamins. Eating whatever foods you can in raw form, properly washed, is supposed to be the best for you.

Citrus fruits (grapefruit, oranges, etc.) provide healthy portions of vitamin C.T he nutrients found in citrus juices are reported to have very beneficial effects on the human immune system.
While some people say that juicing loses the benefits of the fibres, others say that squeezed fruit is just as healthy as eating a piece of raw fruit out of your hand. There is not a whole lot of fruit flesh lost when you squeeze fruit so your glass of orange juice does contain all the fibers you need.

Genuinely fresh orange juice not only tastes great, but the health related benefits are essential to our diets.

I think fruit eaten/drunk closest to in it's natural form (and closest to its harvested time) has to be more beneficial than those that have been processed or concentrated. The processing of fruit (sterilising, washing, etc) for juice inevitably strips some of the natural goodness found in freshly squeezed fruit. Taste a glass of naturally squeezed vs a concentrate and notice the difference.

There is some disagreement about the quality of fresh-squeezed juice versus juice that has been processed into frozen concentrated orange juice and reconstituted. However, while it might seem that concentrating and freezing would reduce the freshness of the juice, the time required for the juice to be bottled/packaged and delivered to the consumer might reduce the flavor just as much as the concentration/freezing process.

definitely is better freshly squeezed.its even better to leave the oranges in the fridge for 3 days, the cold makes the fructose level higher, making your juice taste sweeter.never ever buy the carton stuff but if you must ,do not buy the juice that is made from concentrate, that's mostly the fruit acids and can cause discomfort like heartburn, indigestion in acid sensitive persons

It tastes a lot better because ordinary oj is made from concentrate and has virtually no vit c left as it is sterilised with heat like UHT milk-yuk. Even better to just eat oranges- more fibre and taste delicious, or buy a juicer & make your own.
