My bf does the same thing. I explain that this is entertainment for me. Kind of like TV only better. There isn't a lot of "real" value to this site, but it makes me smile and it's free. Free entertainment. Doesn't get any better than that.

Its great! I have gotten some great recipes and some great advice from here.
There are some 'A' holes that just spew sarcasm at every question. Another thing is don't misspell anything or that will be all the answers you get. use the handy dandy spell check.

diff people have diff view. Ignore him. Or perhaps u can tell him why u feel this is a great place to be. If he still laughs at you...just leave him alone...some people they just dont understand
