A new hoax message warning about Wobbler virus appeared in 1999. This virus does not exist. However, there is a joke program called 'Joke.Win.Aloap' that is detected by Solomon as 'Wobbling Trojan'. The hoax message looks like this:
WARNING: If you receive an e-mail with a file called
California, do not open the file. The file contains the WOBBLER
virus. This information was announced yesterday morning from
IBM; AOL states that this is a very dangerous virus, much worse
than "Melissa", and that there is NO remedy for it at this time.
Some very sick individual has succeeded in using the reformat
function from Norton Utilities causing it to completely erase
all documents on the hard drive. It has been designed to work
with Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer. It
destroys Macintosh and IBM compatible computers. This is a new,
very malicious virus and not many people know about it. Pass
this warning along to EVERYONE in your address book ASAP so that
this threat may be stopped.
However, there is a worm - Nowobbler - that spreads the above hoax message within itself. Further information about the worm is available at: http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/nowobler.shtml

Show me a link to any article in any California newspaper that explains what you are talking about.
There are NO new deadly viruses in California, so they are NOT connected to chemical warfare.
I live in California. If there was anything to what you were talking about, I think I would know. While I wait for your response, I think I will check out the war fair. Sounds like fun.
Ooops! My bad. You said califonia, not California. Sorry.

It's definitiely something to think about. But what about all the genetic experimentation and engineering that's being done to "improve" our food supply? Inserting DNA from animals into plants, for example. Instinctively, I feel we have been recklessly messing too much with nature.
