NO. You can't control whether you love someone or not. Love just happens. Getting a broken heart sucks. But, think about it like this...If it takes getting your heart broke a hundred times to find that one time when it doesn't, wouldn't it be worth it. Every relationship is like a road leading you to that perfect someone. Sometimes that road may get bumpy, but in the end, you'll not only be wiser, but ready for that special someone.

Getting your heart broken is part of life. At the time you feel like you just want to die but you don't; even a broken heart heals and you move on, taking something from each relationship with you. It sounds like a cliche but it's not. If you don't take any risks in life you may not experience any heartache but you will also miss out on alot of life experiences.

The only way is not to fall in love. If you have a wall around you and not let the person in, then that's not love. You might think you love the person, but to love is to let the person in. That's intimacy. Sex is a minor part of a loving relationship. You have to let someone in to love them, but the draw back is if and when they hurt you, you'll be crushed. Trust is a very hard commodity to buy from someone.

if u love, there's always a possibility for ur heart to be broken 'cause there's no assurance for everything.. If u dont want ur heart to be broken, dont take anything seriously but it will not give u happiness.. pain is a part of life..

Think the best you can do is a little damage control.. but there's no way to protect it through and through.
But hey, it's a risk worth taking - cos giving it all you've got will bring returns beyond what you can imagine!
Don't give up on love!

You first learn to love and feel heartbroken from your parents, siblings, relatives, friends.

So when you go on to a relationship its also unavoidable. People throughout their lives must love and learn.....learning is the heartache. It goes hand in hand.
