i got this cold sore and i put medicine on it and its dried out and scabby, could i peel the scab, well probably not, but how do i make it stop feeling dry?

Cold sores are a virus and all anyone can do is wait them out.
medicinal creams help with healing but there is no single cure.
Pulling the scab off could create yet another sore and leave a scar.
A little bit of vasiline will take care of the tight dry feeling.
Hang in there--your almost through it.

Put some Carmex on it. It will help the dryness and if it is painful it will help that too. And don't peel the scab off!
