Somebody on Y!A once told me that 'God answers all prayers - except those that are counter to His will, and we'll never know what His will is'.
Think about that sentence for a minute. That an adult can unblinkingly say - and believe - that tells me much more about the theistic mentality than any website or book ever could.

Believe me, God does not hate amputees, nor does He hate anyone else. I have heard some remarkable stories of healings, from reliable sources. And although I have yet to encounter one that does involve God healing an amputee, I have full belief that it is in His power and abilities. I'm sure it's happening somewhere, but not every miracle is reported, I can assure you that!

healing demands faith. Praying isn't resembling faith, and neither equals salvation. some issues require prayer and fasting by ability of various human beings to get effects whether all of them are saved. He additionally does no longer answer prayers while what's asked for is used for inner maximum exhilaration or decision. At any fee, God is fascinated interior the situation of the coronary heart, especially. we could additionally ask why he does no longer heal ugliness by ability of the comparable argument. Our spirits bypass into the eternal afterlife, no longer those decaying bodies. God in many situations makes use of the stricken to minister to others. while the disciples asked why the guy become born blind he replied, "yet this befell so as that the paintings of God may well be displayed in his life...."

This way you can have esteem for what you have(health) and not take it for granted. Plus the amputees can learn that they have much more strength than they thought inside them. Plus nobody is perfect! You expect humans to be perfect? Other are amputees, other are amputees in their heart or mind, other have illnesses, this is how people are, no one knows why.

I love that site. Godisimaginary.com. Penn and Teller have a better chance of healing an amputee.

I really don't think God hates amputees. And, I'm sure He can heal amputees.
But, I do think that we ask the wrong questions.
If it's in his will to heal amputees, He will.

Because it is God's will that some people, reguardless of the good or kindness someone has done within their lives, suffer unbearable humiliation and pain.
