I would use www.sidestep.com to check for flights.

what it is is an aggregator of sorts, that actually pulls fares directly from all of the other purchasing sites (ie: expedia, orbitz, and airlines sites) it shows all of the fares, and then when you "choose" one, it takes you directly to the source. so you technically purshace from the site sidestep foound it on, but this way you can find the best deal in the quickest one stop fashion.
