Explain to her just what you asked in your question. She will probably be flattered that you still think about her two years later. You have changed and grown, she probably has to. The only bad chance is one not taken.

Yes, give it a shot! If it works, great! If not, then you learn to keep doing until it does work :) Like Mark Twain once said "Don't put all yer eggs in one basket." Because you lose that basket and u are screwed! (That was me!)
