Does anyone know hw to get a dvd out of a bose 321 system?

The system keeps trying to read the DVD but won't open when I press eject

I have had this problem on occasion with dvd players.

First try unplugging it for a few seconds then plugging it back in and pressing eject (once) as it is 'setting up' the disc ought to eject before it's read. perhaps you've got a disc that is written wrong - probably a badly copied DVD

If the machine is not under warranty. Unplug it, and remove the top. The disc will come out easily. Perhaps it has dislodged its self.

If the machine IS inder warranty then take it back to the store.

If you dont want to lose the disc or it may embarrass you if the store sees what it is ;>) then try the above - but be careful you dont mark the screws or break any seals in case you have to take it back.

if the eject button stops working, two things may be happening-

1) the system is 'busy' trying to read the disc; leave it for a minute or two then hold the eject button down, this may work.

2) the switch or system is buggered. take it back to where you bought it, or if it isn't under warranty, find a sparky (electrician) and get them to crack it open and fish out the disc.
