i have these problem with my parents.
I lied to them once by denying to them that i had a boyfriend.
But to proove them that i would never do it again,i broke up with
him even though i loved him so much.
From that day they never believed in me any more.
infact,two days ago,we had a field trip,with my class mates.
my parents told me that i was going to a date.
but it wasn't true
i came home late because it was raining hard,the got mad at me and told me that i went out with my bf,they wouldn't even listen to me,if they don't listen to me how wil they know the truth?
please,help me,how will i get their confidence on me,i mean how will i make them believe again that i will not lie to them like i did last time?

It will take time. But you will get through.
Just keep earning it back. Just think about if someone took your trust away ....you would want them to REALLY earn it back wouldn't you? They are setting the bar for you so you can learn that you also shouldn't be swayed so easily. You will teach people how to treat you by how well your parents are teaching you to treat them and yourself.
You sound smart..everyone makes mistakes..listen twice as hard then what you speak.(2 ears 1mouth)
make sure you speak to them when things are calm.
PICK AND CHOOSE your battles.
you might or might not like your parents right now but
you will be thankful later on~~~~~TRUST~~
I was in your shoes 10 yrs ago...I thought they were old fashioned or that they had the reins to tight on my...
but I am so thankful they didnt let me end up like alot of my friends.
If you can get proof get it for them so they can see you are really trying. like the person above said..try to get a teacher or someone
to call them and let them know where you were.

Trust is something that is earned and not given. You will have to earn their trust back. Sorry. They want the best for you and I know it is hard for you to understand. Just keep being truthful and honest. You can never change the truth but you can change a lie. Be patient. They will trust you again in time.

Luk.....Its a common n general prob wid all childer who fall in love... i think u shud try to convince that person at ur home whos really a bit close to u rather than others....or elz....if ur parents blieve ur frendz then i think u shud try to take help from ur one of ur frendz whom on ur parents blieve a lot! She shud try to convince them tht u r not wrong..........Apart from that if u have ne close1 at ur home whom wid u can share every n each prob..then i think u shud try to take that person's help....best of luck dear!

if you are in love and have a boy friend, don't deny or what have you done, to pleases them. be honest to yourself first and than share it with others, doesn't really mater, they believe you or not, it' theirs problem. justOne

that is a tough one...have no advise...we don't know your parents...perhaps "the field trip"...you could get your teacher or chapperone of the trip to call your folks???

you will have to prove it to them. say only the truth to them even if its bad.
gradually they will trust you.
but you might do some harm to your social life
