I think that sometimes its better to hide from the problem than to face it...but that doesn't help you to solve it...My very own quote "Running away from a storm doesn't help you survive it"....

Sometimes it's more painful to cure cancer than to just let it go and not survive. Its better to have a good quality of life for a short time than to suffer through a long life.

Essentially, the cancer will kill the patient anyway and all that you can do is to alleviate the suffering. So the patient will not survive in the end but he will at least not suffer so much on the way.

Nobody I heard of, but listen.
Don't try to do anything to help your pain, from anything you can get on the street. It's VERY dangerous taking medicine on your own intiative, or taking the law into your own hands! EITHER are DEADLY! Pray to Jesus. Then seek a doctor!

its better to just have a few more pain killers, rather than go through the pain of treatment and suffering the torment of your family.
it basially means; your not a survivor if you would rather die painless, than see it through to the end, whether you have a good fighting chance or not.
everyone goes through pain, but some would rather die than suffer.
