I am trying to operate with a wireless mouse and keyboard from my bed but I would like the text to be larger so that I can read it.

Follow these steps.
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. At the top look under veiw.
3. Go through on veiw until you get to 'Text Size'.
4. Choose which size!

On Internet Explorer click on View and then text size.
On Windows you can go to the Control Panel. Go to Display. Go to Appearance. There you can change all the basics in the display on windows.
You will see Item and a list of items to change in Windows. I believe the size of text is either Menu or Palette Title, but you could do trial and error if those don't do it. You can also change the font at the same time.

Click on 'Veiw' then 'Text Size' at the top-left of the screen

Hold down the ctrl button and use the scroll wheel on the mouse ...
if you dont have a scroll button the + and - keys work as well
