MBA is, now-a days, a very good option for ones career profile to have a steep gradient. The choice of the subject within the MBA depends upon ones natural instinct. I mean, ones area of interest in which a person seldom feel exhausted doing the work. However, in my opinion human resource management will be a good option after B.E.(Mech)/ B.Tech.(Mech).

hey..doin MBA after an engg iz gr8.U can do MBA specialisation with marketing nd finance. If u r aware there r other specialisation subjects like Human Resource, international business, software, insurance etc.I am suggesting marketing and finance bcoz..in future when u bcome a manager..u wil hv gud mkting skills nd u can also take care of the fianancial issues in the organisation. As far as international business iz concerned..it has more of this mkting issues in the international context..which u can learn thru newzpapers..books etc..same wid HR.So d best course to do iz either finance nd mkting or mkting wid software specialisation.

Or d best thing to do iz wid ur mech engg skills..go ahead nd do a job for 2yrs..nd join gud b-schools aftr 2yrs xperience.

I think you start a job and after an year make this decision. MBA can be done anytime.
This will give you a good idea on your interests, strengths and weakness in a working environment. Believe me you wont regret it.
