God gave humans free will and each person can choose heaven or hell. I do not know why anyone would choose hell.

i am an atheist and I am proud. I do not believe the stories that are told in the bible because they are what i just said, stories. To me, they are no different than any story writen long ago. Has anyone heard of Gilgamesh? The story was written BEFORE the bible about creationism so if anything, that should be believed and not the bible, but no, it is not the case.

I don't know, all the pieces just dont seem to logically fit together for it to be a rational use of my time to be religious. I have no offense to the Christian values, as I think they are good rules to live by, but I just don't believe in the whole, "Be good and you'll go to heaven!" nor the whole omniscient being watching over us.

I don't believe there is a heaven, hell or god(s).

But if you do, you are going to be in for a surprise when you get to heaven and realize that one of your loved ones is being eternally tortured by the god who is now going to be your roomate. Heaven would not be an eternity of love, but an eternity of mental torture.

Is it worth bothering with these people, let them live their own lives. Look at the world today, the hate, the anger, the destruction all because so many people have turned their back on God. They blame religion for wars and hatred but the hatred is now in their souls, they say Islam and other religions are good but the Lord God is a jelous God and there is no God but God almighty. Remember, we will All have to face him one day and be judged by him.

yes that is true!

well i think God spoke with him in a way that changed his life forever. It doesnt matter what happened before as long as he trusts God and has faith in him and accepts him as his personal saviour he is saved.

its there a verse saying this: For all have sinned and came short to the glory of God?

God Bless!

Oh and by the way when the guy all the way before me said "Be good and you'll go to heaven!" You got this all wrong. Christians do not believe that good deeds can get you to heaven. As long as you accept and know Christ as your personal saviour, to understand and acknowlege what he did at the cross of calvary, about his sacrifice on earth just so our sins will be forgiven, if you pray to him and ask him for forgiveness and to know that if you died today, you would go to heaven. Many people in the whole world spend most of their time wondering about what would happen next... Dont wonder... KNOW you need to make sure and know that you have asked for his forgiveness....

Is this a real question?

If you have an eternity of love, why do you need to preach? What could you possible gain by shifting someone's destiny to your view?

Because the messenger was not an example of the sender.
but rather a hipocritical hate mongerer

If you are acting out of a panic that people will not listen

you are acting out of doubt

which is sin

god is in complete control and you have no power to save a soul

only god can.

It says all names were written in the book of life before the world began

your hateful assault may soothe your fear, dissuage your feeling of an out of control world, and booste your self righteousness, but where is the love that you speak of? I only smell the stink of fear, desperation, and panic.

I am not rejecting an eternity of love, I am choosing not to live in a fairy tale. Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, God. All the same.

if god is kind and merciful and if its unconditional love.. like a parent loves their kids. shouldnt "god" love u and bring you to paradise whether you accepted him or not?!!

You proved that god is egoistical and is not full of mercy and unconditional love.. since if u dont believe in him although u have been a model citizen you go to hell !! Makes no sense at all !!

Because no one has proven a single one of the statements you just made. Bring on real evidence...not just some book written by desert nomads who had no clue about geology, astronomy, biology, physics, or any of the other things we know about today.
