You can go to your dentist and he/she will make you plate similar to the ones false teeth are fitted to, it stops you doing damage and I understand stops headaches resulting from teeth grinding.

I grind my teeth - and it causes headaches, earaches, and jaw pain. You can get a mouth guard that is basically not even noticed looking for while you sleep - regardless of what is getting posted here. Go to your dentist and be fitted. Mine is clear, and small. It just fits right over my top teeth. No one but me even knows it is there! Check with your insurance, if you have it, as dental made guards are a bit more expensive than going to the local pharmacy and picking one up in the toothbrush aisle. Plus, they won't last as long. Mine was $750.00 ... but insurance paid all but $50.00. You will notice a difference once you have wore it for a while. Use it every night ... keep it clean ... and enjoy the benefits!

I am a dental assistant and I have patients every day that swear that they don't grind their teeth, but it is very obvious that they do. I grind my teeth severely, so I wear an NTI at night. I made my own of course, but you get this from your dentist.

I clench my jaw. I had a cushioned night guard made and cut it down to only the front six of my teeth. I did that because it was too thick and actually caused my jaw hinge to streatch too much when I bit down. It works great now. It absorbs the shock for my teeth and muscles. another good way to recover from the after effects, like muscle soreness, is to use a heat compress to soothe the muschles.

There are loads of people who grind their teeth, most people think they are one of e few that do but it is very common. Go to your regestered dentist and ask them to construct a nightguard. They are made to fit on your teeth and you wear it at night, this should help to control it

Go to the dentist and tell them you grid at night. They will make a bite guard for you to wear. It will cost around $150.00. You want to have it done, so you dont wear down your teeth and cause way more problems like TMJ ( jaw joint ) problems, sensitivity, root canals, and crowns.
