My fiance and I are tying to book tickets to St. Lucia for next August and they are telling us that we can't fly on our miles (US AIR) on ANY Sunday. Then we told them to do it on Saturday but they said they are already sold out. What the hell?

Having been in the travel "biz" for over 25 years, I can tell you that many airline's mileage policies SUCK! There's so much fine print, blackout days, only a certain amount of mileage tickets are allotted for each flight....it's crazy! See if you can have yourself "wait listed" on the Saturday flight; sometimes, when it gets closer to departure and they don't sell all their seats, they'll open up more mileage seats...good luck!

If US Air said you can't use them, then I guess you can't use them. Are you asking Yahoo Answers for a confirmation?? I think if they told you no then you should listen to them. There is probably nothing you can do. Call someone on US Air's helpline. See what you can do.
