I am very affectionate and like to sit on peoples laps and hug them, even people I dont kno well, but my aunt said im 2 old for it and people might get the wrong idea

Being affectionate is cool, but at 19 sitting in other's laps would give the wrong impression. Hugging people won't ever fade with age though. You have to watch out, doing something like that will give the wrong impression, specially if you hardly know the person, it may seem like your out snooping for something that you're not.

Well most people follow the philosophy "Act your age". I argue that age is not indicative of maturity. You can still love childish things as an adult, even if it's sitting on people's laps. I'd find that really cute and very innocent. Coinciding, there's a large chance you'll send the wrong message across though, but as long as you don't mean to and your intentions are pure, I think it's adorable.
If anyone gets the wrong impression, you probably shouldn't do it to that person again.

Yeah, you're a bit too old. I mean, it's a little better if you're sitting on your mom or dad's lap, family members. Strangers, definitely not. You may have all innocent intentions but unfortunately, the same can't be expected from everyone else you meet.
If you absolutely must sit on someone, let it be a family member or a friend, but not a stranger.

I agree with your aunt. 19 is to old to sit on peoples laps, unless it's your boyfriend's lap your sitting on.

Your Aunt is right. If you sat on my lap I (as well as most men) would assume that you want me to "stick it to you" if you know what I mean. Men are naturally pigs (it is just the truth) and most men would view such actions by you as a BIG OL' GREEN LIGHT and we would step on the gas...assuming you are attractive. If you are ugly we will be offended and we will soon get ticked off.
