consider this: God existed before time, he created it imagine the trinity talking to gether maybe discusing how to make the earth it would take 6 seconds and 6000 years at the same time. so it coul be six seconds six days six years or six thousand years. as for the arguement how can it be six days marked by the rising and setting of the sun when the sun was made on the forth day. God knew how long he was going to make a day so there is no reason why he could not have made during the first three days in the same time as the sun takes. this is God the lord almighty the all powerful maybe we should consider why it took him a full six days.
ANYWAY to answer your question you could give it a go but make sure you save up first while your not going to work you will still need to eat.

What are you really asking? Surely you are not dumb enough to propose such an idiotic scenario. The ancient Jews had no understanding of the time frame of creation and put forth the truth embedded in two different stories of creation. God inspired them to proclaim his role in creation and left the details up to them. The entire Bible is much the same, God allowed each individual writer to use his own intelligence, background and culture to bring about truth. You have to care enough and trust enough to find the truth sometimes. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in reading scripture and if you are devout in your intentions, God will not let you down.

A day for God is a thousand years for human. Even Peter in the New testament has worded that. Most big companies allow their employees to have Sabbatical leave every seventh anniversary. Are you a Jew?

Though I have no one to confirm it with living or dead,
is said for every day in heaven is one thousand years on earth.
Go a head take that year off you must work in the big bucks movies to have enough to do that. I would recommend first reading the book again. O_-

The earth was created in one day. Everything God created took 6 literal days. Later on in the Bible it says that 1 day is equal to a 1000 years. God wanted us to rest on one day. He wants us to work 6 days. He was giving us an example on how to live.

first, look up the concept of the "Sabbatic Year" and "Jubilee Year"
and another point is to look at the translations. some people have said that the word commonly translated as "day" only *really* means "period of time" and that it simply makes a better story, and is more reasonable sounding to a human mind, to have it be day cycles.

The "God has a different time wave" was taught that theory to excuse the obvious flaw in the 6 day creation theory. Sure...take all the time off you want and chalk it up to creationism. That would work! (even if you don't)

who knows could be 6 months... not so sure. I do think it's on a 7 day cycle. And he rested onthe 7th "day". I think day/night is the clue that it was on the 24 hour scale.

It's what you BELIEVE. Just be glad to live every single day because we are making the world right now. You never know when we will get uncreated because GOD only knows. :D
