Here is what I did and it worked!!! All I do is this.... Drink 150-200oz of water a day for starters. Then all I eat is fruits and veggies. Nothing on them what so ever! And then I bike 25-30 miles every other day! Do this for a month and you will lose more then 40lbs!

Why are so many people on here looking to lose A LOT of weight in such small amounts of time? You cannot lose 40 pounds or more in 30 days. And if you want to lose weight and keep it off, you are going to have to accept that. If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you are going to have to change your whole perspective - none of this "how can I lose as much weight as quickly as possible". It needs to be about a permanent lifestyle change. Cardio, weights, eating a healthy low sugar, good carb, lean protein diet. The simple fact is that most people do not have the willpower or the discipline to be able to lose weight. Now the question is, do you? If you are looking for a good diet, I would recommend the South Beach Diet. You don't want to cut carbs for too long though - two weeks is enough to jump start your diet, then bring back the healthy carbs like slow cook oatmeal and brown rice.

Losing 40 lbs. in 30 days isn't really healthy. I usually lose weight fairly quickly though when I stop eating at night. I stop eating at around 6 pm, so I go to bed hungry. And I don't drink any soda pop or juice past that time either...just water. A little daily exercise like a 20 minute workout video speeds things up too.

Well to lose 1bl u have to burn 3500cals a day more than u consume, so i suggest an intense work out plan and a good diet. There are loads of sites that tell u how many calories certain activities burn, so basically do the math, u should be able to lose 30-40 pounds depending on how hard u work for it. I doubt it is healthy however.

Healthy tips for losing weight fast

1. Lessen calorie intake by 250-500 per day by substituting most high calorie foods for low fat varieties

2. Keep this cut going for at least one week or until you reach a weight loss level that lasts more than 4 days, then reduce calories by a further 200 per day.

3. Take high quality protein with mainly meals or if possible combine the low fat plant foods together at each meal.

4. Begin a standard weight-training program to keep muscle and boost metabolism.

5. Do aerobic activities on the days in-between the weights sessions to help burn fat directly.

6. Drink plenty of water all day to keep energy levels.

7. Lessen sodium eating by preparing meals using fresh, natural and healthy ingredients.

8. Gently raise the intensity level of the weights program forcing the body to hold onto muscle as calorie intake is lowered gradually over time.

9. Never go below 1500 calories per day, simply exercise more often when if this target is reached.

Wanting to lose 40 pounds is admirable, but to do that in 30 days is impossible. Most experts suggest that 1-2 pounds a week is safe for weight loss, and even if you were to lose twice that, or 20 pounds, much of it would be water weight, not fat.

These other 8 people don't know anything about health or nutrition. May I highly suggest that you go to a gym, a part from that is physical education course that you are taking in junior high school.

My recommendation is to work at the gym every single day and in conjunction with the exercise that you do in the junior high school you will definitely loose weight.

Remember the first series of pouds that will go out is water, but please keep in mind that you must tighten the muscle at all times.

First, cut out all processed food with white sugars, white flour, white rice, soda and whole milk (use 2% or skim). Drink 8-12 glasses of water per day to keep hydrated and to help carry waste out of your body. Eat as many veggies and fruits that you can. Switch to brown rice (Uncle Ben's is good) and use Smart Balance instead of butter or margarine. Cut down on your sodium so you are less likely to hold water weight. If you can, go the healthfood store and get some Bragg's organic apple cider vinegar ($5 for 32 oz). Take 2-3 tablespoons mixed with 2 tablespoons of honey in 8 oz of warm water. Sip it like tea and drink it before each meal (3-4x daily). Now, this is going to several things simultaneously. First, it will boost your energy, flush toxins out of your body, lower your blood pressure and cholesterol and even out your blood sugar levels. It will also help curb cravings for unhealthy foods and clear your skin. Now, the first couple of days, you will feel a warm, swishy sensation in your stomach. This is your body adjusting to the proper way it was intended to work. Organic apple cider vinegar is a wholesome and healthy way to deal with weight loss because it prompts your body to heal itself from within and doesn't have unhealthy side effects like pills. Do this regimen in addition to exercising at least 60-90 minutes a day. If you like tapes, TurboJam and Slim in 6 by Beachbody work well and quickly. Just remember to eat healthy and get plenty of rest and your body will do what it's supposed to do. By the way, don't trip off losing a certian amount of weight in 30 days. Let nature take its course. Feel free to email me if you have any questions. Best wishes.

You are trying to loose too much weight way too fast. A reasonable goal is 1 pound per week, that is 52 pounds a year.

However by starving myself and exercising I was able to loose 1 pound every 3 or 4 days. I gained it all back though.

Keep a slow and steady course and have fun.

you might try a low carb diet, if you cant get access to that you can always count carbs, limit your carb intake to 35 to 45 carbs per meal, and walk everyday for 45 minutes, you can measure carbs by looking on the back of the boxes and checking the carb amounts i like to choose healthy choice flip on the back of it and check the carb amount if it is 35 - 45 carbs you can have it. snacks should be raw veggies half a cup at night a snack that is good would be 3 cups popcorn but check with your doctor before you try any diet to be sure you dont have health issues if you try this you should see a change in your weight very soon good luck to you mystical
