i have naturally curly hair, of course, and i use Motions Lavish Conditioning Shampoo and Moisture Plus After Shampoo Conditioner....these two will make your hair softer and shinier(well conditioned)...as for straightening, i always make sure that i put in a heat protectant--Biosilk Silk Therapy it also gives you hair some shine...and i dont know why but it makes my hair alot easier to straighten..hope this helps

use herbal essences. thats always good. i have bosom long, naturally straight, dark brown hair. i get compliments for it being so shiny and straight. i've used herbal essences for a long time and i was quite satisfied with the product. i even bought myself the PAUL MITCHELL smoothing condition super skinny serum. that stuff is great. short episode: i've got a friend. she has a bit unruly shoulder long wavy hair. a couple of days ago she used that serum and the same day she got compliments for her hair at work.
plus: it has an apple/candy- like smell!

I use a shampoo called "Dumb Blonde" it is awesome. I have very thick coarse hair and it makes it very soft and shiny. I buy it at the Ulta salon stores but other salons carry it also.

While some hair fall daily is natural, stress, hairstyle products and lack of nutrition can cause excessive hair fall as listed at http://tinyurl.com/kshvn . By changing your lifestyle and using herbal remedies, you can reduce hair loss. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/py7z4

Schwarzkopf shampoos - they are the best.
fructis shampoos
good cheaper brands are suave and herbal essence

don't like panthene - they weigh my hair down.

Sunsilk definitely... I used the pink one (for thirsty hair) and my boyfriend noticed, he said my hair was really shiny and asked if I did anything new. So if he noticed it is definitely good, and it makes your hair super soft.

I love Paul Mitchell Awapuhi line.

I have coloured hair (bleached) and the hair dresser said my hair was the healthiest she'd seen.

I owe it to that line.
