You know that the police are going to use the blue shield and never prosecute the officer. They will probably award him a medal of honor for bravery.
He will probably receive a promotion. Should citizens carry guns and blast the cop for doing this.
Any psycho who pulls guns on children should be shot whether they are a civilian or a police officer.
If a good cop saw some psycho pull a gun on a 7 year old the cop would probably shoot them dead.
So if a good civilian sees a bad cop pulling a gun on a 7 year old shouldn't the good civilian shoot the psycho cop dead?
It seems logical doesn't it. Otherwise the cop will never be punished. He will have no deterrent against these abhorent acts.
It's like a wild animal once they go bad the game wardens kill them to protect society.
Once a cop has gone bad they become an extreme danger to society and fellow officers protect these monsters.

Here is the link of police terrorizing innocent children just because they were black.

You cops are very funny. Stating that 7 year olds pose a danger to police officers safety.
The mathematical odds of 7 year olds endangering the life of an adult are probably about 1 in a billion.
Do the math calculate all the 7 year olds that shot somebody and divide that by 7 1/2 billion people.
Stupid cops on here. You've got a better chance getting struck by lightning. Plus you've got your kevlar vests on.
Man How good of a shot could a 7 year old be considering that 1 in a billion chance.
So that gives you officers the right to pull guns on children. You cops are pu.s.s.ies. You're not brave men.
You better start pulling your guns on all children. I hear they've got them lollypop zip guns.
Better draw down on babies too. I hear they got them new passifier grenades.
You cops are paranoid schizophrenic psychotic a.s.s.holes. You think the world is out to get you.
That's because you're out to get the world.

Okay, God Save America / freedom_patriot / freedom_fighter / OfficerHarris / DeputySheriff / Justice4All / Whatever you're calling yourself today.
Normally, your "questions" are just the ridiculously pathetic rants of a sad little man who has been arrested a few times and wants to blame others.
But now you've stooped to stealing other peoples questions. And one that you answered, even. That is stooping to a new low. For those who didn't catch it the first time, here's the one I'm referring to: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuW4VGB8KX4sPFZq7u3Q7LHsy6IX?qid=20060922161717AA5QPyu

I have seen/heard/read about many 7 year olds and younger carrying a gun.. Now just because the cop has his gun pulled out on the 7 year old.. Doesn't mean that 7 year old isn't packing heat! (Aww he's only 7.. He looks sooo innocent) Times have changed and the world is a messed up place.. So you can never judge a book by its cover..

A seven year old with a gun can kill a cop as easily as a 30 year old.
I notice that you leave out all details of the incident in question. I'm guessing there's a reason for that.

Although you are obviously spending your time in a drug induced stupor you do make one valid point. The police officer who pulled the gun on a 7year old should be sent to a juvenile detention center with plenty of ammo.

If anybody (law or otherwise) were to pull a gun on myself or my family - he aborgates his rights as a police officer.
1st off- officer must have reason to believe his life is in danger.
That is like this question said, so unlikely that he is obviously endangering others.
If I know the situation I would shoot to kill if possible.
If not possible would do what I could to stop the shooter.
Including throwing rocks or other to deflect things.

It would depend on what my child was doing to have a gun pulled on him in the first place. What could he have possibly done to warrent a police officer to pull a gun out?!

This isn't the first time police have seriously overreacted to the supposed threat a small child poses.
I'd be so far up his captain's behind about this the person would see me when they brushed their teeth in the morning.
It's not acceptable, by any means, to draw a weapon on a child, especially racially profiling like this.
I'd have the officers job, no matter how much it took to make sure he was never a cop again.

Get a life.
Without the police, the thugs would come and take all your stuff and beat you down. Then who ya gonna call.
You try pulling this stuff you are talking about ---- its gonna make for a short life span.

Perhaps if the child had real parents things like this would not need to occur. They demonstrated real restraint.
