Sure, as long as you are providing serious answers and following the rules for posting on Y/A. It's not like you have to present a card to post in certain sections.

Very good question thus I wonder if you are so sure you got the right catagory? In truth In my opinion there are a lot of good questions posted here, but when the answers are matched to the question the fighting and the divisions start to show up.
For one I am not so sure I will welcome you because of what I know lies ahead for you if this is you early visit and you do not really know this section. A lot of blood here and a lot have to be carried of this section to the hospital. I mean there is a rough bunch here ha ha.
Can you take that without getting all upset and allowing others to control your feelings and your life? If you are really tough, thick skinned and very skilled in the scroll key - welcome aboard but if not I do feel sorry for you.
I personally survived because I am 66 years old. an old dog that can not learn new tricks, have a sight problem so I can only read 1/2 of the answers, and did not get too much of an education so most of the time I do not understand all those big 4, 5, and 6 letter words they do call me.
See I have learned to survive and you can do the same ha ha. Just post about 3 controversial quesstions here and get ready. If you can get past that mark, you might just make it OK
My advice which applies to me is just to smile and enjoy the day and read every answer as a pure love letter not to you but to someone else ha ha. That way I do enjoy my daily visits and even laugh as I learn those new words.
May your God protect you and you will survive OK
Now have a good day but do consider the consequence before you post that question that may be in your thoughts OK. Threr are a lot of prerecorded sermons out there just waiting to get posted that will tell you how wrong you are. So think twice, post it then duck or run!
P.S. I did check your profile and the questions you do answer Lol. See I am serious I do like to enjoy this section OK.

It's an open forum. They have a right to spew their bunkum and non-cultists have a right to debunk it. Only a hypochristian would object to that.
If the godbots want censorship (by christians against non-christians) to protect their precious and precocious idiotologies - oops, ideologies - they can go post on beliefnet.

Why should someone who is not easily swayed by dogma and absolute faith be less worthy of answering? Someone who has approached the question of religion with reason and intelligence?
I fear, however, that you and I are greatly outnumbered in this forum.

Sure...answer away. Your opinions are just as important and valid as anyone Else's on here. Surely they are much more intelligent than all the high school blather we are forced to weed through to get to any valid questions.

Sure. It's the "Religion & Spirituality" section, not the "Religious People Only" section.

As long as your responses are sensible and well thought-out, say whatever the heck you want. Just be prepared to defend your Invisible Pink Unicorn from Christian sociopaths...

Mere_Mortal,
Your opinion is more valid than mine, so please stay involved here.
Mostly I'm here to try my spelling and typing. (0 mistakes! very slow though.) That and looking for smart *** answers, I need to laugh at the end of the day!
