Even the bible says we evolved from monkeys!
Well not really, but the above statement was just about as factual as the question you asked.

We did not evolve from monkeys, and no evolutionist will claim we did.
Nor did we evolve from chimpanzees, who too many people call monkeys.
It is thought that all primates (humans included) evolved from a common ancestor. This ancestor was probably a small arboreal mammal which bares little resembolance to primates today.
Evolution does not apply to only humans, but all living things. The theory of evolution (all 'facts' in science are actually called theories) is simply one of change.

We don't come from monkeys. Monkeys and humans come from the same species. Humans evolved in a way and the different monkeys and apes in their own way, depending of the environment.
The statement that we were made in the image of God is not intended to be literally, i.e. with eyes and arms, and legs. etc., but in the spiritual sense

The monkeys and apes and gorillas and humans that we have today all evolved from a common ancestor! Its just easier to comprehend if we say we evolved from monkeys. Allthough we didn't exactly. We evolved from the same ancestor as the monkey.
Humans themselves have evolved over time and some species of human have become extinct like the Neandethal.

Although I am a christian I can answer that off the top of my head since I've sat through oh so many Science classes. We evolved from a common ancestor; not monkeys. *barfs* I just can't believe that so many people have been blinded by lies and a myth that takes much more faith to believe in than the alternative (creationism)

Heard of the "missing link"? That's why there's still monkeys. We have a common ancestor, which split the two species from one another.
One quote I thought was hilarious (in a not-meaning-to way) was from a member of the KKK, who stated in the same speech that "all black men evolved from monkeys" and "evolution is bulls*hit" - By the way, I hate all the scum that belong to that or any similar organisation.

Trying to answer this question in terms you could understand or be prepared to accept is pointless. You have a closed mind and would not accept anything different from your existing beliefs. Unless you change your attitude you will remain ignorant of many truths. You will learn nothing
