its not possible. JSA aka jobseekers alllowance is literatelly for unemployed people seeking full-time work and so if you want a student loan because you want go to university full-time, you cannot have JSA as well. you cannot have it both ways. besides, if the university finds out you have JSA as well as a student loan and vice versa with the jobcentre, then you'll be landing youself in trouble. so i'd advise you not to this.
instead, contact the student loans company of whom will send you a application form for you to fill in. if you apply this year not only will you get your loan for your course but also a grant worth £1000 which should cover your travel expenses, as well as books, stationary and other essentials. and with this grant you don't have to pay it back, although you'd still have to pay back tutition fee when you graduate and earn around £15,000 or more in your job, i think.
hope this helps and good luck!

Unfortunately you can't claim JSA as well as a student loan. However, if you are in Scotland, you can apply for a student loan through SAAS. If you are in England, you apply through your local LEA. This is not really as bad as it sounds. If you have dependents, you can get extra money in grants (you do not have to pay these back), money for adult dependents, help towards (or indeed full payment) tuition fees, childcare allowances (something like 80% of the cost, up to a maximum of £250 a week).
