It is not your duty to convert. It might be your duty to offer the word, but not to force. I seem to recal a verse about shaking the sand off of ones sandals at a house that sends them away...
And, it sounds like you take a bit of joy in the idea that others could spend an eternity sepparated from a creator who you no more deserve to have in your life than the next human.
your selfrighteousness disgusts me. You will sew thorns instead of disciples. Any fruit from your speaking will be as sour as you and they will also sew thorns until every ear is closed and every heart heardened.
If the world falls into darkness and deaf ears then when they ask who has sewn such darkness, you may point to yourself.
Your oppressive nature and selfrighteousness are not the spirit of god, but the spirit of undoing.
"..the greatest of these is love and in doing so you will have fullfilled all of the law"

Our duty is to love them without an ulterior agenda... Nobody likes to feel like a good catch and after that they're left to spoil. You win by loving them, not by shoving them. The human soul is a very delicate thing, you can't just go shoot a harpoon through it and hope it lives. Spread the message and love the audience, even when they reject the message. Be a friend, the world could use an upgrade on the definition of friendship.

Don't your bible tell you not to judge others? I guess you better be going to pray to your god for forgiveness. You seem to have confuse yahoo answers with one of your bible thumpers sessions!
I don't care to hear your word of his divine message and you will NEVER convert me to your religion. FYI I am not going to hell cause there is no such thing! So go spread his divine message where it is wanted not on here where it is not wanted unless you are preaching it to those who ask you to or care to hear it!
When did you "convert" from Atheist to becoming a Christian or are you just trying to prove a point?

It is one our duty to spread the Gospel or the good news, but the converting part is not because of our will, God's will be done always. God will not draw near the person, if he is not willing to, unless he draws near and seek Him, then God will not cast anyone who comes to Him.
Being pushy on people won't help. Rebuke them if its proper. Up to them if they'll repent of their ways....Christians should set an example so they say.
"He who is filthy, let him be filthy still.."
He who is holy let him be holy still...
Being a living witness of the faith, is likely for people to see the light, something like that.

I don't believe in trying to force anyone to convert, or trying to convince people to convert. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, and that should be respected. Everyone has free will.
I think that if you spread the Word and give people a choice, believe or don't .. the ones who do believe will find comfort and knowledge. The ones that don't .. well, maybe they will find comfort elsewhere.

Your over the top messages are not going to win the help of winning the hearts and minds of anyone, especially atheists. Calm down and take your meds.

I like questions like these and seeing all the lost souls appear and try to defend what they, do not know anything about or have never been taught the way.
I feel sorry for them, I do and have spread the word but i don't preach to those who don't listen or don't care.

It is our duty to act His. But by force wasn't His way and I don't think He approves of people using use and bully tactics to spread His word.
