if you want to put your cat on a leash, take her/him to a petstore and ahve her fitted for a harness and get a good leash cats do better with cat harnesses my cat does and i walk him everyday good luck

For some cats, it takes a long time for them to get used to it. Make sure you are using a harness with the leash, because they can wriggle out of a leash and collar. But the harness on for about 5 minutes a day with the leash trailing, and give them a treat during and after you take it off. Keep trying until the cat walks normally with the harness and leash on. Take it slow when you go outside. Just for a few minutes a day, and be patient and give lots of praise.

Use a harness type collar. They don't make cats as uncomfortable as the neck style. You lift the center of their bodies to encourage them to move rather then making them feel choked and wanting to fight the collar. It's a good thing your cat is some what fear full outside. It is a smart cat. Give it a chance to adjust.

let him wear his leash inside the house. Thay way he gets used to it. Then when taken off...leave it near his sleeping place or just around the house. He will need to have it on about 30 min...before walking outside. And when the door is opened..let him lead the way.

It just doesn't work. I tried too. The cat did the same, until one day he got scared of something and got loose from the leash (yes, he can, although you think it is impossible), and ran away. Fortunately I found him, but it is just not their style.

PLACE A HARNESS ON FIRST SO THAT HE CAN GET USE TO IT INSIDE AND THE INTRODUCE HIM TO THE OUTSIDE. YOU NEED TO HAVE ALIGHT WEIGHT HARNESS AND LEAD SO THAT HE WILL EXCEPT IT.

guess your cat has a collar...let it wear it to get use to it. Cat are natural hunters, you don't need to lease it, just let it be and leave it alone....they will know what to do in nature

The best way to tame my pussy is to spank it. For real. Just put her down and rub her, and eventually she'll want to be bad. Then you have to just spank her. She'll cooperate, trust me.
