No need to tell them. Religion is whatever you want it to be.

You need to get honest with yourself about why you've made the choices you've made. There is a very good chance you are being motivated to explore this religion by a need to feel significant, different, powerful, your own person. None of those is a good reason to pick a religion. Who or what we follow and believe in tells us a great deal about ourselves. It's very possible to believe in a lie or in something insignificant. I can assure you your choices right now will come back to haunt you. I suggest you stop following a fad or trend, and do some serious research into what is really true. And by the way, every person I've known who has tried to disprove the Bible - honestly study and disprove it - end up bowing to Jesus. And if you react violently to that last sentence, you are in deep trouble

Then do purely it for at some point and notice the way it is going. make larger your quickly by making use of an afternoon or 2 each and every time. in case you leap in and take a examine out to quickly for 20 days without coaching, you have have been given a sturdy probability of ending up in well-being facility. 3. i'm no longer a Christian, yet I wish you success in looking friends who're. 4. i will end by making use of if i'm getting a raffle.

Just say Mom, Dad, I've decided to give my life to the devil and practice witchcraft and follow my own selfish desires.
I'm sure you'll get exactly the response you desire from them.
P.S. sweetheart, Christians don't go to church only " once in a while". Fake Christians do that.
Real Christians get very upset if something prevents them from attending church.

Funny. mygrandaughter named her big gold fish fluffy too. Unfortunately cat or raccoon went inside the fishpond and ate it along with 4 other gold fishes. I don't know why you have converted to Wiccan. Are you a witch.? You better tell your parents and break their hearts. Have you obtain the black hooded robes?

Deuteronomy 18:9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
18:10 There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
18:12 For all that do these things [are] an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
18:13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
18:14 For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so [to do].
18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

It's none of your parents' business, unless you want to cast your esbat circles in the living room during Wheel of Fortune... Be discreet. Remember that ours is the way of hidden knowledge, of shadows... we see what others will not, praise what others do not, and do what others cannot. Keep this secret lovingly close; you will know your brothers and sisters whenever they cross your path, and they will know you. You can follow the way of WIcca without decking yourself out in black and silver pentacles. I live discreetly, and I'm quite open about my faith, even insofar as having discussions about religion with my seminary-student brother in law.
And I have been adopted by Abnoba, goddess of the Black Forest (Germany). I met her in a creek in the Sierras... worship what you will, just remember that you must keep your promises to it.

Does it really matter if your parents know? They are following a false religion anyways, so it is not worth the trouble. Wicca atleast is not as fundamental, but it still is a false religion.

To Sandy. No, that does not mean she's found a false religion. It just means that she may not want her parents to disown her for switching to a religion that already gets enough **** as it is. Man, all these other answer suck. I don't know why everyone says that you should just go to church and find God.
