I mean, we are all on this Earth for a purpose that God created us for. Therefore, the worst thing you can go through is having your efforts wasted right? Think of it as typing a novel and then accidentally deleting it, or building a house just to see it get torn down.

Or, may I add, raising a child and not seeing him or her grow up well inspite of your care.

Actually, the worst emotion I've felt is when I found out my mother was terminal with cancer, and there was nothing anyone could do. Many things that I thought were terrible paled in comparison to that.

I think it depends on the individual and what his or her life experiences have been.

Yeah! like being a christian for 10 years, and then one day, you realize it's a 2000 year old hoax? That can ruin a week or two, and maybe put you on prozac till the feelings subside. Then maybe you want revenge. Oooooh... yupppers.... this could go way too far.

Or like loving someone and doing everything in your life for that person, only to find out that they are angry with you for something you did months ago, and their crummy actions have been based on resentment towards you. So your good deeds and love and need for respect go unfullfilled/unrewarded because they are not recognized by the one you love. If he does everything out of anger while you doe everything out of love... the balance is wrong, and the lover ends up hurting more in the long run.

(Crap happens. I had something like this happen last night. It's resolved today, but the pain was so intense last night. I felt betrayed big time.)

I get you.

Actually, we're a screw up. God made this world to be like a vacation spot for His spirits. Our spirits can get inside things and see what they're like. But the first spirits hung around too long, and got stuck by the forces that make this world.
Eventually, God gave us a boost, so we wouldn't have to keep
living as stoneheads. When they ask, why did God make bugs?
Well, bugs have a purpose. They till the soil. Feed other creatures. The question should be, why did he make man?
Sound like some New Age bullcrap? Hebrews 11 says that, " The faithful of God were faithful, because they knew we are
strangers and pilgrims on this world."

You can type another novel, And build another house. Don't lose your Faith. I wish I could think of something to cheer you up, But I got bit on the butt today by a horse, And when I jumped away from him I hit my head on the hay rack, Which hurt more than the nip from the horse. So I can't think of anything funny right now. You sound depressed, Get out and have some fun at whatever you like.

stuff like this happens every day. the person who created the material is frustrated and doesn't want 2 deal with it but, it is a part of life. not everything is perfect. My efforts for equal rights for gays are not wasted but, not brought up. that is my novel and my house. 2 much controversy here.

For me, my worst feeling could be absolute hopelessness. That would.

You can always retype a novel or rebuild a house. Unless you are out of hope.

God Bless

That would be up there, but I think different people consider different things more or less painful than others.

For me, it would be grief over the death of someone I love. Nothing else holds a candle to it. Second would be having my heart broken.

Depends on the person, but according to most psychologists, loneliness is the worst emotion a person can have.

It is a bad emotion, no doubt, but I think I am in total agreement with Music girl. Loss of loved ones is way more hurting.
