Is it alright to eat Ice cream few hours after taking a warm to hot shower?
Took a shower at about 11 or 12 at 2 having ice cream?
Someone heard from a family member of a relative said. That someone died after drinking cold bear after the Sauna "where the hot vapors are where men sit with towels". Not sure what time though between going from very warm to very cold.
Other Adults answer please not kids or teens Thanks.

Question to the poster named: "beautiful". Why would beer kill a gentleman after stepping out of the sauna? Unless he had a heart attack that was coincidential? Of course the info can not be verified on him.

the thermal shock caused by change of temperature is a real thing, but it only appears if the change is very sudden and it affects your whole body. for instance, if you lay in the hot sun for 3 hours and then jump into a pool with cold water, your heart might suffer a shock. but if you just drink cold beer or eat ice cream, the worst that can happen is to get a headache. however, I strongly recommend that you eat the ice cream slowly unless you want to get tonsillitis. it ain't pleasant, I can assure you!

it doesnt matter wether you eat ice cream immediately after taking a hot shower or hours later.
i even think that the rumor about that man dying after having a cold beer after the sauna is nonsense or simply has another reason.
as long as you are healthy you can use the sauna and steambath area and having cold drinks the same time.
i went to the gym regularly. it also included 15 min sauna. the gym generally offered cold/ice cooled drinks. there was no special note saying you shouldnt drink them after the sauna. (and i am still alive...)

StayAt Home MOM sounds correct. The person did not die from drinking cold bear. Maybe the bear killed him as he was getting out of the sauna.

That is an old wife's tail...myth...what ever you want to call it.
Eating anything too hot or too cold after you have taken a shower, sauna, pool, etc. will not cause any harm to you or make you die.

i think so. but u should really ask ARTHEM THE GREAT's magickal tennis shoes. his fish "santorino" will give you a bowl of tomatoe ice cream if u like it u may eat ice cream after a hot shower.
