Use the Table feature. Enter the list into a table, which you create in Word. Then you should be able to select the columns and sort alphabetically. Failing that, make up your list in Excel and import the table into Word for sorting. You can set it up so that you don't have the cell boxes visible if you'd prefer just the text. Use Format, Cells & Borders.

Highlight your list. Go to the Table option. You will see a little icon with AZ and an arrow. Beside it, it should say "sort." Click on that, and it will give you the option of how you want to sort your list. Just click on the option you want to use, and hit "OK." It will automatically sort your list. GOOD LUCK!!

Build a table. You can then sort any of the columns alphabetically.
