I live in S.E.Mo. very close to the Ark. state line and I find Arkansas to be a great place to visit. There are alot of new developments going on in Ark. The fishing is great and the people are friendly. Unfortunately Arkansas catches way too much grief over the inbreeding stuff. People that want to talk about inbreeding should look at the states along the Appalachian Mt's. before casting stones at Ark.

Ha -Ha-real funny. I lived in Arkansas for 18 yrs and i did not see any men dressed as women going up and down the street . There are alot of good people there. I never knew anyone who dated or married there cousin-it is in the bible belt and most people are religious. I would rather live in Arkansas that alot of other places in America!!

West Memphis, AR kinda reminds me of South Jersey a bit (minus the torando's though). Not so much on the dating cousins - BUT we did go to a bar a few weeks ago to watch a friend karoke and there were KIDS IN THE BAR at 11pm doing karoke - that was kinda one of those "only in the mid south" moments. LOL

Beautiful state - God made each one special in it's own way (Even New Jersey, the garden state, then people came to it)
The people are very nice, even if it takes 3 people to make a full set of teeth

No, I don't think you date your cousins. I drove through Arkansas once--the roads are bad, and there seems to be a lot of poverty. But, there are many parts that are gorgeous as well.

Hillbilly town. Anything goes in any southern town. I think more incest happens in West Virginia than Arkansas if that helps.

so silly. my family is partially from Arkansas, my mom can actually say she was born in a barn. they were that poor and lived in a house that literally looked like a barn and was old. back in the early 50's. still have family in Arkansas.even friends there too, hot springs and little rock. family names densons, Barnes, stigal''s

I feel bad for them after what the Clinton's did to them, how can you raise taxes in a state like that. Notice the Clinton's didn't GO BACK TO AK FOR FEAR OF BEING SHOT ! haha no i don't think you all date your cousins..although i'm sure many stero-typical people who haven't been to arkansas will say they think so.
