I find the whole concept to be deranged.
Why would God owe us anything when He gave us freewill?
Are we really that selfish?
It's insane...
Do we really expect everything on a silver platter without any type of recompensation?

Answer the question please...
I'm not about to get into a long debate as to why i believe in God.
That's my personal choice.
My freewill, so to speak.
We all have it.
So if some don't want to believe in God, so be it.
To each their own.
And i did not intend for my question to single out "all" individuals on earth. Just those that do act as though God owes them something...

People choose to do stupid things and blame God for not protecting them. It is our warped perspective and expectations of God that cause us to act as if God owes us anything.

Some people really dont understand how good we have it. Times can get rough, sure. Even terrible. Still though, it can be worse and, one day, it will be. We aint seen nothing yet. We should enjoy our lives and wait to recieve our eternal life in heaven.
During the long stretch of eterety, the ticket that you recieved for speeding will not matter. :)
God Bless

The people you are referring to think the world owes them and are selfish in nature. When they fineally pull there head out of the deranged web they made.
When people fineally that giving is the answer then they will recieve 10 fold. All we can do is pray for them. God bless

Because for many ppl belief in god is nothing more than the ultimate in shirking responsibility for their own lives. It is a crutch. When it fails, they blame the crutch. It is the same reason ppl become "angry" at god when something terrible happens to them and why they start to "bargain" with him/her/it. Unfortunately many times it is the reason good ppl do nothing...they are waiting for god to step up and intervene. Most ppl worship god with the expectation of reward, in this life or the next. Religion is a selfish thing in and of its self.

You're right, God doesn't owe me or anyone anything except the right to understand him and know him, the same as you expect your right to do so, with my mind and with my heart, even if it disagrees with you. I didn't ask him to be born and I didn't ask him for free will. If the price for not following your own deranged version of reality and logic is eternity in hell, if it should in fact also be his, he has my complete permission to take it back, or better yet, un-bear me.

Man are sinners, we take things for granted. Just like our parent, when we need toys,. sweets .. money, or whatever things, our parent will be providing us all these.. Why ?? Because they love us.. but when they don't, we cry, make a fuss out of it, angry..
The same goes to our Heaven Father, how much more He loves us.. Most often, we take Him for granted, most of us, when He bless us, we praise Him.. Thank Him, when He is slow in His blessings, or when bad things happen.. we question Him, Why me ??
We got to remember He is God, and accept the good and bad.. As All things work for the good, for those who loves Him. Remember His faithfulness.. Praise God regardless in or out of season.. Give thanks always..
God bless you.

My thoughts exactly! Why do many people always think prayers must be answered? Doesn't God want us to live up to our potential and do some of the hard work it takes to create "miracles?" Maybe we should "listen" to what He wants of us instead of begging for favors.
