is it being phychic, are is it the spirit of god?how to tell the difference?

I am very ohychic, my mother was that way.I could tell you storys you would nt belive,but I believe in gods spirit. so very much.,and I get confused sometimes about if this thought are feeling are word I hear, is from god. thru his spirit, are just a phychic thing, which is a much lower level then the spirit of god which actually comes from god, this has bothered me for years, I wish I really knew some how. I love god with all my heart, and this phychic thing I have is bothersome sometimes, is anyone has any idea what I am asking please advise me, its emportant to me, to know the differnce,

Any talents you have were given by God. He does give us free will, but we are all creations of His. If you are a believer and you have a "relationship with God," I am sure you are hearing his word.

I hope this helps. I had the same prob for years, and even turned my back on everything. I'm back in the swing of things, and I have definite opinions and beliefs now.

Maybe you could look into different definitions of God and what it is to YOU instead of relying on what churches tell you it is. Just a thought.

Nothing is a lower level. It's all a part of the same thing. We are all a part of the same thing. You and I are the same, and we are filled with the same stuff that makes us who we are. All is connected, and all is one, and all is god, and god is all, and is in all. In essence, we are all god. My new definition of what I feel god is. Not a judgemental tyranical omnipitent being in my image, but something more than I can imagine who is not asking me to apologise for every wrong I did. He doesn't need me to say I'm sorry. I don't need to appease the higher power/creator. Why would he want that from me if he/it is all powerful? ESPECIALLY if he made me, and "knows my life before I've lived it" This is all man made bull that pulls the marianette strings of the followers of the religions to keep them afraid of something so they will behave... Hellfire and Damnation if you would not ask for forgivenes.

I don't buy it. AND I won't "damn" the followers. To each his own. They found what they need. I found mine. I hope you find yours too.

If you are a Believer but there are voices in your head....you can tell the difference if it is of the advesary (the devil) or if it is the Spirit of God..according to the evidence in the Scripture. It is not easy. you have to be well-learned in the Scripture and be prayerful always. Put your trust in God that He wil give you peace. If the things that you are getting, can be in some form of thought that does not realy come from you. Be careful, because the devil CAn really put thoughts in your mind, even in your heart, if you are unstable about or just a "baby" Christian, so they say. The Spirit of God will speak things according to the Scripture...and the devils will always turn out to be senseless or unfruitful in the end...

If its interactive....you can test the spirits...as the the Bible says in 1 John. You can test, if they are Scriptural or not...then you will know.

If they are really bothering you...rebuke them "in the name of Jesus"!

thoughts that are in our head can come from 3 sources, from God, the devil and from man (ourselves). A very good way to tell the difference is to test the spirit, you can test it by the 8 gates listed in Philippians 4:8. If it fails any of them, means that it's not from God. God bless!
