Do you think they understand that we are not going to keep putting up with this crap, with the illegals? Do you think they are feeling the heat of the American Citizens right now on this subject?

I know they do, just personally I have seen so much protesting and petitions and things like that, and the wall being built in Arizona by the Minutemen.......there is no doubt about how we feel. It is more a matter of votes, the Hispanics make up such a large number of our population they don't want to lose their support. It's greed, plain and simple. It has nothing to do with our country and it breaks my heart that things have become reduced to this.

The politicians understand, but they are corrupt for some reason.... and they really don't care how legal Americans citizens feel about this invasion.

They are starting to understand this crap will not continue to fly...

They are indeed feeling the heat.... they are at least acting like they are going to do something about it.... but will they continue after the election... Spectre doesn't want to pass anti-illegal bills because he thinks it will take away the left's leverage for increases in "guest workers", and don't ever think Spectre is a conservative.... he isn't even close.... he is a back stabbing politician who will do anything to further his left leaning agenda....

Here's what some American citizens, Republicans all, "feel":

"As they sum up this season’s losses, estimated to be at least $10 million for California pear farmers alone, growers in the state mainly blame Republican lawmakers in Washington for stalling immigration legislation that would have addressed the shortage by authorizing a guest-worker program for agriculture. Many growers, a dependably Republican group, said they felt betrayed.

“'After a while, you get done being sad and start being really angry,” said Toni Scully, a lifelong Republican whose family owns a pear-packing operation in Lake County. “The Republicans have given us a lot of lip service, and our crops are hanging on the trees rotting.'”

no i don't think the government knows where we are coming from to be honest i don't think they even give a crap. The government isn't for the people like it was originally designed now its made to take from the people(or so it seems) and everyone is so busy concentrating on terrorists and attacks from the outside they don't see the ones happening right here. For instance on a much much smaller scale seat belt laws helmet laws, that is our choice, if women can get abortions and murder there babies because they couldn't keep there legs shut, so the kid has to die for there mistake then we should be able to decide if we want to live or die, Oh yeah but the state needs to make money somehow so we the people get ticketed for these things. same with the bigger picture because our government couldn't keep the border shut we have no job market so we the people have to suffer for there mistakes. i know that isint quite what you were looking for but i needed to vent sorry

Oh man! Listen up son, the American Government doesn't give a tinker's damn about how we feel. You and I are just numbers in their little game that is Totalitarianism. Take a look at the voting process...You have Popular and Electoral. Popular really doesn't mean diddly-squat when it really all boils down to your state representative calling the shots. That is why we have "Red" and "Blue" states.
Pretty soon, we're gonna have "Free Food and Circuses for the Masses" just to placate the citizens...Let's face it, we're another Roman Empire on the verge of collapse...I hope we at least get to have orgies before that comes along!

Yes, they understand the feelings of the citizenry. that's why they continue to raise taxes to make the people mad until they go insane. Because if you're insane, you are not in the right condition to file cases against lousy politicians.

Now where do your taxes go? They are used to provide welfare assistance to illegal aliens. Now that they are properly fed and housed, they propose that the official language to be used in California - is Spanish. They rally because their proposal was rejected.

Your taxes support the needy. If you haven't seen an Armenian who owns a Lexus paying his groceries using food stamps, go to LA.

Seriously, I haven't seen any Hispanic or Asian in the streets that belong to the homeless class. Most of the people you see pushing grocery carts on the streets - are US Citizens.

That's our government's way of seeing things.

Please don't see me as a rascist. I am only citing things which I see around.

If Americans can keep from becoming complacent and keep turning up the heat as long as necessary and even after things are done, maybe they'll get the message. Americans need to get out and vote because that is where they can really send their message!

The only thing the government cares about(atleast in my opinion) of the american people is who the american people vote for.

I'll "answer" your question with a question: Do you think there is ONE government (democratic or otherwise) on this earth that gives even one tinker's dam* about the ideas, hopes, plans, work, or life, of even one of its citizens? Governments consume people as if they were nothing more than cheap tasty potato chips!

I think that our useless politicians are so out of touch with real America that it truly is mind boggling.

Yes, they are beginning to feel the heat. That is the only reason why they have started to do their jobs....IN SOME STATES. There should be a lot more done about this.
